課程大綱

課程概述	訓練大一學生英語能力。每週上課三小時。
課程目標	藉聽力練習、詩歌朗誦、散文與短篇故事與重要人物的演說，增進學生字彙與理解英語國家文化內涵的能力。本學期將繼續 note-taking skills 的訓練，同學聆聽比較長的演講，練習寫作聽力筆記。另外﹐將安排 Show and Tell 的單元﹐ 讓同學輪流上台以英語跟班上同學分享自己的喜好與收藏。
課程要求	按時出席、每週預習小考、聽力測驗、寫作作業、課程討論與口頭報告。
