課程概述 Course Description
This course is designed for students who have already taken the introductory classes to consecutive interpretation and simultaneous interpretation. We will work on skills and strategies for both consecutive interpreting and simultaneous interpreting. Students will also be given the opportunity to observe professional conference interpreters at work, and learn about conference interpreting in a professional context.

To give students who are interested in pursuing a career in conference interpreting an in-depth introduction into the profession, and to hone their bilingual and bicultural competencies and interpreting skills.

Attendance is crucial, because practice sessions in class are very important, and every hour counts. Arrangements will be made for students to attend international conferences to observe interpreters at work, and students are expected to make time to attend the conferences.
