課程概述

在1971年出版《正義論》一書後，羅爾斯(John Rawls)於後續的一系列論文和講座裡，對其主張持續進行精鍊與修正。他將其社會正義理論「作為公平的正義」重新定位為一種政治的正義觀，並提出重疊共識和公共理性等概念。在1993年出版的《政治自由主義》裡，我們可以看到羅爾斯後期理論的完整體系。本課程將探討政治自由主義的基本要素、三種主要概念以及制度性架構，並分析羅爾斯前後期理論之間的差異。

課程目標

本課程欲透過閱讀並探討《政治自由主義》之重要概念和論證，促進學生對羅爾斯後期政治哲學理論的瞭解。此外，本課程也將透過課堂討論、個人作業撰寫，以培養學生的表達能力、論證建構和批判反思能力。

課程要求

1.瞭解羅爾斯前期政治哲學理論：由於本課程欲探討羅爾斯後期理論及其與前期主張之間的差異，故修課學生需對《正義論》中的主要論證與主張具備基本認識。
2.彼此尊重－上課不聊天：課堂裡切勿私下聊天，若有任何疑問，歡迎隨時舉手發問或提出討論。
3.誠實－作業不抄襲、考試不作弊：個人作業切勿抄襲網路資料或他人文字，考試絕對不要作弊。抄襲和作弊者成績以零分計算。
4.積極參與：修課學生應積極參與課堂提問與討論。
