課程概述

「烏托邦」意義繁多而模糊，本課程僅聚焦於一個問題：烏托邦作為 *哲學方法* 的可能性。今日許多人仍會以正面的意義使用此詞，但作為哲學方法，烏托邦是破產的。為何破產？是傳統哲學的思維模式跟不上時代的變化所致嗎？還是它一直都是錯的，只是近現代才發現它錯誤何在？本課程將以二十世紀初的烏托邦批判為背景，試圖揭露傳統的烏托邦經典未明言的 *預設* 與 *視野* 為何，並評價在今日復興它的可能性。 

課程目標
 一、內容：理解「烏托邦的興衰」怎麼作為一重要軸線，貫穿了西方政治思想的發展，以及其中理論與實踐的辯證。此外，對於它作為某種思考方式之利弊，能給出支持自己看法的清楚說明與評價。
二、工具：培養表達（寫作/口說）哲學思考的基本能力（對於其他類型的寫作也是很有幫助的！）。
三、方法：學習如何從政治哲學的視角切入文學作品，培養不受學科拘束接觸文本的習慣。
