Course Description

本課程將引領同學賞析西方自十九世紀現代戲劇開端到近代，包括挪威、美國、英國、義大利、法國等國的經典戲劇作品。  

Course Objective
 培養學生理解所選經典劇本的形式、主題等專業知能
培養學生應用分析劇本的學科能力
培養學生發展創造力、表達力、與批判性思考的能力
（註：雖是EMI授課，課程目標仍在增強學生專業知能為主，而非改善英文能力為主) 
Course Requirement
 **教室座位數極限42名。若已滿額，無法加簽。若未滿額，欲加選此門課者，第一次上課務必出席，否則不予加簽。
*上課教室為學校未來教室(綜401），同學務必遵守教室規範。
*本課程為系上規定EMI英文授課，教師使用英文(偶或使用跨語言解釋對同學困難的概念)，同學小組討論和報告儘量使用英文，惟可以視情況使用中文或跨語言。
*請務必帶指定的版本教材上課，以利上課討論與讀劇進行，
*主要以小組討論，佐以老師帶領的全班討論方式進行。同學被期待上課前完成當週指定劇本的閱讀，帶來你的問題與觀察，積極參與課堂討論。
*本門課要求準時上課，每次上課先小考，限定於教室內作答。
*務必遵循學術倫理與規範， 若有違反，則依校規處理， 該科零分，絕無例外。 如下列例子，但不限於此。 1. 抄襲(plagiarism): 所有的書寫報告，均不得抄襲。包括不當引用他人書寫、評論或網路資料，卻未註明出處來源◦ 2. 考試時作弊或幫助別人。 3. 讓別人替你寫報告 。 4. 在兩門不同、有算學分的課繳交同一報告，或報告內容大部分雷
