課程概述 |
此課程為進階學生選擇重要的英文佛學論文閱讀、討論。主要（不是絕對）以中國佛教有關。 |

課程目標 |
This course is aimed to reinforce students’ understanding of fundamental ideas and issues of Buddhism by reading hitherto important English papers. Students will be asked to expand assigned readings further to related materials, primary sources and second-handed papers, to construct their research papers. |
|
課程要求 |
Reading assigned papers before going to the class. Leading the discussion. Collecting primary sources and second-handed papers to write 2 papers.
The first paper is a proposal for the topic you are going to work; it must be with a bibliography of annotated second-handed papers and the primary sources. It will be due on April 30. The formal paper is submitted by June 15.
