課程概述

說謊者悖論研究進路眾多，本專題研究將聚焦於其中以古典邏輯為基礎而具代表性者，如茂德林 (Maudlin 2004)的單一真謂詞理論，費爾德 (Field 2008) 建議的對偶理論，葛蘭茲伯格 (Glanzberg 2004) 的脈絡主義理論，赫茲伯格(Herzberger 1982)、古樸塔 (Gupta 1982)、古樸塔及貝爾那普 (Gupta and Belnap 1993) 等人所提倡的修正理論，以及Scharp所提倡的取代理論。 

課程目標
 使學生熟悉以古典邏輯為基礎的各種悖論研究進路，了解其優缺點，並作為進一步研究相關議題及其他類型進路之準備，以便更深化對悖論之研究。 
課程要求
 每週閱讀指定內容，並寫作短文，定期討論。
