課程概述

說謊者悖論研究進路眾多，本專題研究將接續上學期古典研究進路之討論，進一步聚焦於以非古典邏輯為基礎而具代表性者，特別是費爾德 (Field 2008) 在弗完備 (paracomplete) 邏輯架構下的真值間隙理論，普里斯特 (Priest 2006) 的弗一致 (paraconsistent) 雙面真理論及其在算數和集合論上的應用。我們也將討論萊特戈布 (Leitgeb 1999) 如何試圖綜合弗完備和弗一致兩種進路，並且簡略回顧貝爾 (Beall 2009) 的拱肩理論。 

課程目標
 使學生熟悉以非古典邏輯為基礎的兩種主要悖論研究進路，了解其優缺點，並作為進一步研究相關議題及其他類型進路之準備，以便更深化對悖論之研究。 
課程要求
 每週閱讀指定內容，並寫作短文，定期討論。
