Course Description

本課程將帶領同學閱讀約十個來自世界不同國家的著名現代戲劇作品，包括五個歐美國家的劇作，以及日本、中國、新加坡、印度與奈及利亞的劇作。我們將在文本的社會與劇場脈絡下，檢視這些劇本如何以創新、多元的形式探究各式議題。除了劇本，亦將搭配相關理論評析或是主題論文的閱讀(會列在第一次上課所發的詳細版本課綱)。課程所選劇本與上課進度將依同學學習情形與建議而彈性進行微調。  

Course Objective
 *對來自世界不同國家的重要劇作家有基礎認識。
*認識多元的劇本創作手法與形式。
*藉著課堂討論與理論閱讀，培養劇本分析能力與批判思辨能力。
*透過劇本議題的探究，增進人文關懷。
 
Course Requirement
 *本課程為中文授課，但所使用之劇本多為英文劇本。為方便上課討論與讀劇，請使用統一指定的版本。
*本課程將以討論方式進行。同學被期待上課前完成當週指定劇本的閱讀，帶來你的問題與觀察，積極參與課堂討論。
*準時出席是基本要求，請勿遲到，一打鐘就進入上課模式。三次遲到等同一次缺席計算。除非天災與重大意外，缺席(含)三次將無法通過此門課，請自動退選。
*除非隨堂線上小考與查閱資料，勿在課堂使用手機。
*報告方式與期中、期末考形式將於課堂說明。
*欲加選此門課者，第一次上課務必出席，否則不予加簽。
