This course is designed to introduce you to the various topics and issues in the scientific exploration of psychology. Along the way, you will acquire basic knowledge of the influential theories and relevant research involving important aspects of psychology. You will discover what psychologists have learned that can enrich your studies, your relationships, your health, and other important aspects of your life.

**Given the current pandemic situation, the course will adopt distance learning until further notice. The first class will be a "live" class (https://ntucc.webex.com/meet/cpwchou). From the second week, lecture materials will be delivered to students asynchronously on NTU COOL until the new COVID-19 guidelines are announced.

3. To integrate information from various psychological perspectives and identify facets that that are consistent or not consistent across theories.
4. To connect how knowledge about psychological literature influences their own values and goals.
