A new class, from Autumn 2021, of Exploring Taiwan serials for international students, aiming to introduce unique feature of common and important diseases, also biomedical technology. The class will cover most common but important local diseases, for example, allergic diseases, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, lung cancer, oral cancer and COVID-19 and discuss the pathogenesis, diagnosis and management. Then, we will also update the development of biomedical technology for the prevention and treatment of the diseases in Taiwan. Director of pharmaceutical company and chief executive officer of Development Center for Biotechnology will be invited to talk the updated biomedical technology development in Taiwan. A visit to NTUH tour will be arranged to experience the organization and function of the hospital.
