1. The predecessor of "Project Management in Science: Practical Approaches" was "Advanced Project Management for Laboratory Scientists," aiming to cultivate practical abilities in planning and executing scientific research projects. The course has been offered since February 2013 (2nd semester of the 101 academic year), conducted in Chinese, and has received high recognition over the past decade. Students widely acknowledge its substantial contribution to scientific research.

2. In order to enhance students' English communication and expression skills, it is hoped that after completing this course, it will be conducted in English. The modification of the course name is a response to students' feedback, aligning the course title more closely with its content.

3. For the course outline, please refer to the "Unit Topics" in the course schedule (last page).

4. The course emphasizes discussions with lively and practical topics. The basic structure includes: in the first half, focusing on reading and explaining key literature and discussing research practices; in the second half, emphasizing case guidance, sharing insights, and allowing for free questions.

5. No need to worry about English proficiency issues; I will do my best to help students understand.
